Dave Smith the Man In Back is an incredible Johnny Cash look alike and sound alike performer. He has performed at PRO STAR Sound Stage several times. The attendance for his shows has been fantastic and we look forward to the next one. Not only has he perfected Johnny Cash's Sound, and his moves, but he has captured his humor, likeability, and that larger-than-life stage presence. He is keeping the legacy of JOHNNY CASH ALIVE. I have attended many shows and I can truly say that Dave Smith’s tribute to Johnny Cash is the best I have ever seen. He puts forth a fabulous performance that is wonderfully nostalgic. He even looks like Johnny Cash. I highly recommend that you attend one of his performances, as I am sure that you will be back for more – slate this as a must see when he is in your area.

When I was in Florida on Vacation I was extremely fortunate to hear a Johnny Cash impersonator-David Smith. His singing and resemblance to Johnny Cash are amazing. I closed my eyes while he was singing and I felt I was in the presence of Johnny Cash himself. I would like to know dates where he will be performing, especially any venues in the Midwest.

When I met Dave Smith for the first time I knew then that Johnny Cash the legend was in good hands. He looks, sings and talks like Johnny Cash. I’ve never met anyone who came that close and showed so much respect for Johnny Cash as David Smith. He has a show called “ Legends on the Road.” He asked me if I would like to be in the show and sing my Hank Williams songs. I said yes and haven’t looked back since, it’s been great. Dave Smith really knows how to work an audience. He is not just a great entertainer, he is a great person.

I love Johnny Cash, his music is beautiful and David Smith captures the essence of Johnny Cash in every song and ballad he performs. I have been to many of his shows and get so nostalgic hearing him sing the music I grew up on. In addition to the quality vocals I can honestly say that I have never attended a show where I didn’t have an absolute blast. I love the way that he mingles with the audience before and after each performance and when I look around at all of the smiling faces I can tell that I am just one of the many having a great time. I was fortunate enough to see Tommy Cash perform at the Largo Cultural Center.  At one point during his concert, he pulled David Smith up on stage where he proceeded to sing Ragged Old Flag in his soulful Johnny Cash style. I don’t believe there was a dry eye in the house. What a perfect time to perform such a patriotic song. I highly recommend that you attend his next show for so many reasons and then you can see what I mean about the Ragged Old Flag song being so amazing, since that is the song he chooses to end his concerts with every time!

I had the pleasure of attending one of the Legends on the Road shows last month and enjoyed every minute of it. Not only did Dave Smith look and sound like Johnny Cash, he almost embodies the legend himself. You can tell how much he loves and respects “The Man in Black: and that’s what I enjoyed the most. Legends on the road is a very good show.  Dave Smith is a terrific impersonator that looks and sings like Johnny  Cash.  The  first time I saw him walk into the room I had to do a double-take. When Dave performs you would think you were listening  to Johnny Cash himself. He is such a nice man and and he has a group of singers that impersonate Hank Williams, Patsy Cline,  and Willie Nelson, they are all phenomenal. I have recommended to all of my  friends that they go and see  the show, I told them that they'd be glad they did.
